WELCOME
Since 1968, Cornell University has offered students a field study course called INTAG, short for International Agriculture and Rural Development, involving a two-week trip to tropical countries. Students have traveled to Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic, Mexico, Honduras, Ecuador, and India. These locations have provided an excellent field laboratory to study soils, crops, and animals under a wide range of ecological, social and economic conditions. Over a thousand students and more than a hundred faculty and extension educators, including US citizens and international students representing most of the developing countries in the tropics, have participated in this course. |
